LONDON, WEEK ONE | IN PHOTOS
Sunday, September 13, 2015If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram then you'll know that on Saturday 5th September I moved to London for University. I had planned to film/vlog the entire move and my first few days in the city, but in the whirlwind of unpacking, settling in and trying to getting lost trying to find ASDA, I kind-of-sort-of-forgot to record any of it.
So instead, I've decided to put together a post of all the photos I've taken of places I've visited and a few events I've attended during my first week in London.
Saturday | 5/9
The only photos I took on moving into my halls were of the view from my bedroom and kitchen windows. The view from the kitchen sink makes doing my washing up so much easier. And, though it's sad to admit, I have developed the habit of waking up in the morning and checking that Wembley Stadium is still there. It's like a clarification to myself that I am actually living in London and didn't just dream about it.
Sunday | 6/9
Sunday was spent exploring South Bank, Somerset House and Covent Garden with my other half Luke.
Monday 7/9
The highlight of my Monday was seeing this little dog and his face on the tube..
I spent the evening as my best friend Charlotte's plus one at the Bloggers Love Fashion Week event (aka Bloggers Love Freebies and So Do I!)
Tuesday 8/9
Tuesday was a day for cleaning and food shopping and other boring adult stuff.
Wednesday 9/9
A trip to the V&A and film night in the common room.
Making friends in Hyde Park..
Thursday 10/9
Exploring Ealing Broadway and Vogue Loves Fashions Night Out on Regent Street.
Friday 11/9
My first job interview in the city in Trafalgar Square.
Saturday 12/9
Yesterday was spent handing out copies of my CV for three hours (because I've learnt very quickly that London is very expensive) and exploring Kensington Gardens.
'Thought(s) For The Day' have become my new favourite thing about travelling on the tube.
So, there is it! My first week in London in photo-form. I think I'll keep doing these posts as it's a little different to my usual content.
See you next Sunday for week two,
Thanks for reading!
